This is an elegant Nagoya obi
by Taidenshi Hongoh.
It has abstract flower design on the fantastic ombre dyed background.
The glamorous hue is so attractive.
Textile is shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of shioze silk.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature on the Tare.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has tiny frays overall, and a little bothering on the 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
The stains on otaiko(square bow) are tiny and not so bothering if tied.(refer to the 2nd flaws photo)
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), the noticeable stains on Maegara will be hidden.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
We would like you to enjoy this fabulous obi with your daily kimono.
