This is a vintage Irotomesode
kimono with glamorous rose, dahlia, and Suzuran 'lily of the valley' pattern, which is dyed elaborately.
Bottom is lightly padded.
Textile is very soft Kinsha(fine crepe silk).
Checkered pattern is woven on fabric.
There is a kamon(family crest) dyed out.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has basting stitches, and it maybe after being cleaned.
It has slight discoloration and fine patinas and spots of mold. (A.B) due to its old age.
There are prominent stains on Okumi gusset of left front panel, they are more noticeable than shown on the photos. (C)
It has some other flaws as shown on photos.
