This is an elegant vintage Irotomesode
Kimono with a design of 'tsuzumi' (Japanese hand drum), Ryūteki flute and fan, which is dyed.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven sayagata and stream pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
The sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has discoloration by ages.
Although not shown on the figure, discoloration on the back bodice is prominent by angle of light.(J)
The stitches of left okumi(front panel below collar end) are coming loose a little.(H)
It has stains, patinas, snags and pinholes.
There are other flaws such as wear on collar and smudges.
Please check detail photos.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, lining is discolored slightly.
Also, the stitches of left sleeve seam of the lining are coming loose about 1"5/8(4cm).
It seems to be difficult to wear at formal occasions.
