This is a vibrant vintage Nagoya obi
with a design of such as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Ume' (plum blossom) and 'Tachibana' (Japanese green citrus) on stripe, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the design are gracefully shining.
Textile is silk and jinken (rayon) blend and has rather crisp touch.
The length is rather short, 130.31in(331cm)
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has frays on both corners.
It has more snags than indicated on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) and otaiko(square bow).
It has discoloration overall and prominent patinas, and especially noticeable on the plain part and on the wrong side. (refer to the 4th flaws photo)
It has smudges throughout the edges.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
