This is a vibrant Nagoya obi
with a design of 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China), which is dyed.
The background is woven with kokechi-ori technique and has three-dimensional look.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has a stamp of the designer's signature on the wrong side of tare.
*The real base color is relatively darker than the photos.
There is a stain on maegara(front patterned part).(indicated as dyestuff)(3rd flaw photo)
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), it will be hidden.
There are other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
Please enjoy its exotic fashion!
