This is a Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with traditional patterns as kimono hanging on the standing iko hanger, royal cart wheel, chrysanthemum and plum blossoms which is woven.
Its vibrant colors are eye-catchy.
It also has "HATSURIKOU" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
It was woven amazingly with "Tsume Tsuzure" technique. One thread by one thread, elaborately with nails.
It takes incredibly long time to complete.
It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The 'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
It has folding lines, patinas and discoloration overall.
It has stains and patinas on the pattern such as (A).
