This is a chic Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with a design of grape, which is dyed with gold glazing.
The vibrant design emerges out against the black background.
Textile is exquisite Tsumugi
silk and has soft and nubby touch.
Smudges can be seen on the tare end, 'tesaki'(narrow end) and throughout both edges.
The gold glazes on otaiko and maegara(front patterned part) are peeled off.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, peeling spots can be seen on the wrong side of maegara, too.
It is discolored slightly overall.
Please check detail photos.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still tied.
Please enjoy its stylish fashion!
