This is an impressive vintage Nagoya obi
with large bell pattern, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
Komazume embroidery work is added on the otaiko gorgeously.
Textile is glossy damask effect(rinzu) silk with woven asanoha(hemp leaf) pattern, and has soft touch.
Its length is rather short, 11'5/8(337cm).
There are frayed parts on the corner of tare end and 'tesaki'(narrow end).
The embroidered stitches are coming loose partly.
There are stains, a hole and teared part on the maegara(front patterned part).
There are other flaws such as slight discoloration and patinas overall by ages.
Please check detail photos.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
