This is a tasteful Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with a design of 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'Botan'(peony) and 'shippou-tsunagi' (interlocking circles) on mallet, which is dyed and embroidered.
Drawn work (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added on the design.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft touch with rustic and warm atmosphere.
It is roughly sewn by individuals.
The stain below the otaiko(square bow) will be hidden when tied.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
*It has mold smells.
Though it has some flaws, it is in very good condition overall.
Please enjoy its stylish piece.
