This is a vintage hitoe(unlined) Meisen
Kimono with lovely flower ball of kikyo 'bell flower', 'nadeshiko' (dianthus) and 'hagi'(bush clover) with checkered pattern, which is woven.
Textile is silk and jinken 'rayon' blend, and it has soft touch.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It is hand sewn.
Shoulder lining and 'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth) are not attached.
Both shoulder and sleeve lines are smudged rather prominently. (A)
It also has slight discoloration, fine patinas and stains due to its old age.

There are a couple of small holes, 1mm, near the cuff on the front of the left sleeve.
Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it still is a very lovey vintage piece.
