This is an elegant Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with a design of 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China) on 'kiredori'(overlapping fabric scraps), which is embroidered.
Drawn work (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added on the design.
Green color lining is added and it can be seen through the transparent embroidered part fashionably.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft and nubby touch.
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.
There are patinas on the wrong side partly.
It also has folding lines so please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
Please enjoy its tasteful fashion!
