This is a Meisen
Kimono with adorable Kasuri
pattern, which is woven.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Red silk is used for lining of the sleeves.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Sleeves are slightly long.
Both outside and lining fabrics are discolored throughout. (H)
Stains and wear on collar are rather noticeable because of the base color being dark.
Stain (C) on left front panel are difficult to tell on the photos, but it is actually a water stain, and can be notice by angle of light.
Back is slightly sagged, and there are lining has stains.
Please see photos for details.
The whole kimono seems slightly frayed. (sorry no photos)
Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it is a very charming kimono to own.
