This is a graceful vintage Maru obi
with treasures on 'shippou-tsunagi'(jointed four circles), 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'botan' (peony) and 'shou-chiku-bai' (auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) on 'yukiwa'(snow crystal) pattern, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
Its length is rather short, 12'11"7/8(396cm).
It has slight discoloration by ages.
There are frayed parts on the corner of tare end and 'tesaki'(narrow end).
There are other flaws such as stains and a folding line.
Please check detail photos.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
