This is a tasteful vintage Maru obi
with houou(phoenix) and 'kiri'(paulownia) pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads are woven in the pattern partly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Lining is not added inside.
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
Its length is rather short, 13'3/4(398cm).
Although not shown on the photo and figure, woven threads on the edges are missing by fray partly.
It has discoloration overall by ages.(6th flaw photo)
The snags are tiny.(5th flaw photo)
There are other flaws such as loosing stitches, weaving flaw(2nd flaw photo) and stains(3rd flaw photo).

Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable due to the fabric is getting weak.
