This is a vibrant vintage Nagoya obi
with a design of 'shokkou'(octagon and rectangle) 'housouge'(large karabana flower) and 'kiri'(paulownia), which is woven.
It also has a flower design such as 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'ume'(Japanese plum) and 'Tachibana'(Japanese green citrus).
Textile is jinken(rayon) and has rather crisp touch.
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.
The stitches of tare end are coming loose.
It has blackish stains upper otaiko and 'tesaki'(narrow end), but may be hidden when tied.
Besides, it has folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
