This is a graceful vintage Nagoya obi
with a pattern such as 'tsuzumi' (Japanese hand drum), treasure items and 'botan' (peony), which is dyed.
Silver glazing is added on the pattern partly.
Textile is jinken (rayon) and has crisp touch.
Its length is rather short, 10'11"1/4(333.5cm).
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
It has prominent discoloration and patinas overall.
There are holes on otaiko and seam of fabric on wrong side of otaiko.
There is a stain on right side of maegara(front patterned part).
There are other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
It seems to be not suitable to wear due to the holes.
However, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
