This is an impressive vintage summer Ro Nagoya obi
with lily motif, which is embroidered on red purple background.
Textile is transparent silk and jinken (rayon) blend, and has rather crisp touch.
The obi has one side designed at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), designed side of Maegara will show.
There is a teared part on wrong side of triangle part.
Patinas can be seen on embroidered part of otaiko.
The stain(A) lower otaiko may be hidden when tied.
There are frayed parts on the corner of tare end and 'tesaki'(narrow end).
Please check detail photos.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has prominent folding lines.
Rather thick thread can be seen lower the lily motif.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
