This is a fabulous Tsumugi
Kimono with 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower), 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) and decorative pattern, which is elaborately embroidered allover.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has light and smooth touch, which is the feature of Oshima Tsumugi
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has basting stitches on the bottom and sleeves.
*The actual background color is more blakish gray than the photos.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has a slight linear smudge near the uchiage(re-sewed the length) of the left front panel.
Though it has thread scuff by fray on the pattern of the left front panel, it is not so noticeable.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it can continue to be worn.
We would like you to enjoy this glamorous design.
