This is a Nagoya obi
for Buddhist memorial service.
It has been woven kanji means "silence" with the delicate brush feeling.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
There is a stamp of the designer's signature below the otaiko(square bow).
*The background color may look uneven in the photos but actual color is one tone just as HTML color.
There are some mols at tare-top(triangle part) and one side of maegara(front design).
Those at tare-top will be hidden, and ones at maegara will be done if you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(rotate obi clockwise).
Also it has some stains at te-saki(one end) and some folding lines.
For the detail, please check figures and photos.
However, it looks still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant design.
