This is a gorgeous vintage Maru obi
with treasure such as 'wakamatsu'(young pine), 'Kakuremino' (cloak of invisibility) and money bag, classical motives and 'shou-chiku-bai' (auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) pattern, which is woven on black background.
Gold foil threads woven on the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has smooth touch.
It has kaikiri lines(end mark line) on both ends, which is suitable for Hikinuki knot style.
There are frayed parts on the corner of tare end, 'tesaki'(narrow end) and throughout both edges.
There are some tiny snags on otaiko.
It has a stain between otaiko and maegara(front patterned part).(A)
There are molds near 'tesaki'(narrow end).(indicated as stain)
Besides, it has a slight folding line.
