This is a Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with with jigami(paper cut of shape of fan) like design, which is dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
What do you think about this design, gull in the sunset clouds or rice field?
Textile is little knotted silk and has soft touch.
Fine embroidery work is added partly.
There are some discoloration at one side of maegara(front design) and blank part of te(narrow and long part).
However, both of them will be hidden when it tied.
A snag at maegara is not so noticeable, but if you bother it, it will be hidden when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(rotate obi clockwise).
Also it has slight folding lines, so please check figures and photos for more details.
Though it has some flaws, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its tasteful design with your kimonos!
