This is a Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
It has been woven a pair of oshidori(mandarin duck) and kiri(paulownia tree) on hishi(diamond shape lattice) design.
Gold foil threads are used a lot on the base.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(rotate obi clockwise), maegara(front design) will show.
Tsume-Tsuzure weave technique, which woven one thread by one thread and it must be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
Solid parts of the end of the tare(wide part) and between otaiko(square bow) and maegara(front design) have patinas.
Also it has some folding lines, so please check figures and photos for more details.
However, it's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant design with your kimonos!
