This is a graceful vintage Maru obi
with large 'Shokkou'(octagon and rectangle) 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven.
The large pattern shows retro atmosphere.
Gold threads woven allover are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has kaikiri lines(end mark line) on both ends, which is suitable for Hikinuki knot style.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, the gold threads are coming loose on the tesaki.
Though it has a few snags, they are tiny and not so noticeable.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines and frays on both corners.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though it has some flaws, it is in very good condition overall.
Please enjoy its full taste of vintage design.
