This is a chic vintage Maru obi
with a pattern such as houou(phoenix), flower bouquet and treasure, which is woven.
Textile is silk and jinken (rayon) blends, and has soft touch.
Its length is rather short, 12'10"3/8(392cm).
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
It has bluish stains on tare end and bothering a little.
Although not shown on the figure, some brownish stains can be seen on otaiko, but not so prominent because they blends in with the pattern.
There are other flaws such as discoloration overall(3rd flaw photo) and weaving flaws(5th flaw photo).
Please check detail photos.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
