This is a chirimen Nagoya obi
with a design of 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and kaede (maple leaf) on stream, which is dyed.
Its gold outline emerges out elegantly against the deep dark red background.
Textile is chirimen (crepe) silk and has soft and slightly textured touch.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it has slight discoloration overall, and especially the one on the left otaiko(square bow) will be bothering.
It has whitish tiny dyestuff on one side or 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), it will be hidden.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its tasteful design.
