This is a Meisen
Kimono with large kiku(chrysanthemum)-matsuba(pine needles) pattern, which is woven.
Its impressive hanabi(fire work) like design is eye-catching!
Textile is blend of silk and jinken(rayon), and lining is cotton.
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
It is discolored slightly, and lining has many dyestuffs and small stains.
Also there are wear on collar and smudges, so please check figures and photos for more details.
Although there is no figure and photo, it has small patinas in places.
There is a repaired place at right side of back, dou-ura(upper lining). (*Refer to the 3rd photo of entire)
Also it has some other places that its fabric become thin at dou-ura, so it will need some repairs if you wear it long.
Though it has flaws because of its old age, we would like you to enjoy this fascinating design!
