This is a vintage Hitoe (not lined) Meisen
Kimono with large red and pink flower pattern, which is woven.
The sleeve length is long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Textile is silk and Jinken (rayon) blend and has light touch.
The collar is bachi-eri(folded collar) and it is hand-sewn.
Cotton shoulder pads are attached, but not 'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth).
Basting stitches partially remain on the sleeves and collar.
The snag on the left front panel(B) is a little noticeable.
It has slight discoloration and tiny patinas overall by ages, and especially the discoloration near the left sleeve seam and on 27.56in(70cm) from the back bottom are bothering.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
*The edges are not sewed, so the weft yarns of the back mid seam and sleeve seams come out, but not disturbing for wearing. (refer to the 4th photo)
Though it has flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage.
