This is an elegant Kurotomesode
with a design of beautiful `Hakatagion yamagasa'(The kanji in Gold has this title) festival, which is embroidered and added gold glazing. There are Sagara embroideries partially and it makes the kimono exceptionally gorgeous.
Hakatagion yamagasa is one of the famous festival in Fukuoka prefecture, Kyusyu area.
Fine embroidery work and woven motifs are added on the main parts.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Hiyoku (additional layer) is attached and the collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has five dyed kamons(family crest)of Gosan no kiri.
There is no photo but it seems there is very slight discoloration.
There is a very vague and slight stain near at the right back panel, about 20inches from the bottom. The diameter is around one inch.
The mold on the front panel is very tiny and is not prominent.
