This is a special Kutotomesode by Daihiko ( Shinzo Noguchi, the second generation of Daihiko), one of the most famous Tokyo Yuzen
( and Embroidery ) artisans.
It has interesting scene of working people- spinning, weaving, and farming. Embroideries are partially added.
Textile is exquisite silk.
It has attached silk hiyoku (another layer of lining).It has 5 dye kamons.
There is rakkan(artisan's stamp) on the right front panel which says `Shinzo Noguchi' and `Daihiko'.
The bottom is slightly padded.
The kimono is discolored all over and is quite prominent. The lining also has discoloration.
There are stains on left front panel shown as A.
Please check detail photos.
It is not wearable because of the discoloration but the kimono by outstanding artisan is truly a work of art.
