This is a Nagoya obi
with facing charming mandarin ducks and 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in china) pattern, which is dyed.
Gold touch is accented in places the pattern.
Textile is rather glossy silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Fine pattern is woven on fabric..
It does not have a Kaikiri line, and it might have been made from a Kimono fabric.
Otaiko come upside down when tied and pattern does not show much on Maegara.
There is a seam on the wrong side of Otaiko pattern.
