This is a Hakusan Tsumugi Houmongi
Kimono with captivating kawarake( fragments of roof tile) with wavy stripe lines pattern, which is dyed.
'Karabana' (imaginary flower in china) and decorative motifs are dyed on Kawarake.
Slanted lines are dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
There is a signature of the dyer on right front panel.
It says Hakusan Tsumugi
on piece of fabric.
Outside fabric is slightly discolored.
Smudge on sleeves openings are not disturbing.
Its lining is slightly discolored.

Although it has some flaws as mentioned, it is still in wearable condition.
