This is a vintage Irotomesode
kimono with 'botan'(peony) 'Karakusa' (arabesque) on 'zigami'(paper cut of shape of fan or umbrella etc.) pattern, which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work is added on parts of the pattern.
Textile is silk with damask effect(rinzu), and it has soft to the touch.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has one embroidered kamon(family crest).
Length is 146cm(4'7") , rather short.
Sleeves and the bottom hem has basting stitches.
Its lining is slightly discolored due to the age and has patinas.

Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it is a very lovely vintage kimono.
