This is a vintage summer Ro Irotomesode
kimono with autumnal grass and Fuyo pattern, which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work is added on parts of the pattern.
Textile is summer sheer Ro silk, and it has soft and smooth touch.
Collar is bachi-eri(folded collar).
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
Shoulder lining and 'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth) are not attached.
It has five kamon(family crest) dyed out.
Sleeves have basting stitches.
Stains G on the back and smudge on the cuffs are noticeable.
Patinas in places and slight stains (D.F) on left front panel are noticeable.
It has some other flaws, such as slight discoloration and wear on collar, as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
Due to its old age, it has some flaws, but it is a very eye-catching vintage Kimono.
