This is an elegant Houmongi
Kimono with stream, weeping 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'Tanzaku'(strip of paper) design, which is dyed on the 'somewake'(dyed with separate colors) background.
It also has flower design sush as 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), clematis, 'Fuji' (wisteria) and traditional design such as 'Shokkou'(octagon and rectangle) and circle. on 'Tanzaku'(strip of paper).
Main parts are embroidered.
Textile is exquisite glossy silk with woven 'shippou-tsunagi' (interlocking circles) pattern and has soft touch.
The collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
It has slight discoloration on the right sleeve and a little noticeable. (D)
It has a pinhole on 29.13in(74cm) from the bottom on the back mid seam, but it will be hidden when worn.
It has some other flaws such as dyestuff, foil peeling spots and a snag.
