This is a charming Nagoya obi
with a design of Tsujigahana, which is dyed with Shibori(tie-dye) technique.
The black ink outlines add glamorous feel to it.
Silver foil threads woven on the background are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has a stamp of the designer's signature upper tare.
Discoloration can be seen overall but not so prominent.(4th flaw photo)
The stain on tare end will appear when tied and bothering a little.(3rd flaw photo)
There is a stain on maegara(front patterned part).(A)
However, when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), it will be hidden.
There are other flaws such as folding lines(5th flaw photo).
Please check detail photos.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
