This is an elegant Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi
with 'Tsubaki' (camellia) design, which is woven.
Gold foil threads are gracefully shining.
It also has "HATSURIKOU" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), Maegara will show.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure
*Though the photo shows uneven colors by the angle of light, actual background color is one color.
*The actual background color is relatively more yellowish than the photos.
It has stains and snags on otaiko(square bow) and 'Maegara' (front patterned part).
It has smudges near the tesaki.
It also has prominent folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
However, if these stains do not bother you, it could be worn.
Please enjoy its elegant design.
