This is a graceful Fukuro obi
with a design such as Japanese musical instrument and fan on 'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line), which is dyed.
The design emerges out against the foiled background.
It was designed by Isezo Tarumoto.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has prominent folding lines.
The stains on 'Maegara' (front patterned part) will be hidden when you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise).
The smudges are not so bothering.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Although it has some flaws as mentioned, it still is a very charming and classical item to wear!
