This is a graceful Tsumugi Nagoya obi
with a design of 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'kikyou'(balloon flower) and 'shiba'(lawn grass), which is dyed.
Gold glazing is added on the design.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft but nubby touch.
It has a stamp of the designer's signature lower otaiko.
*The real base color is relatively brighter than the photos.
There are patinas on the design but are tiny so not prominent.(4th flaw photo)
The stains on otaiko are slight so not noticeable.
Discoloration can be seen overall but is slight so not prominent.(2nd flaw photo)
There are other flaws so please check detail photos.
However, it still can be tied!
