This is a Kimono fabric cut into Houmongi
shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make Houmongi.
It has a design of flower such as 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), 'ume'(Japanese plum), 'matsu'(pine tree) and 'kikyou'(balloon flower) on stream, which is dyed.
Gold glazing and embroidery work is added on the design.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, it is discolored overall.
Patinas are tiny so not prominent.
There are other flaws so please check detail photos.
It must be an amazing handicraft material!
