This is a Nagoya obi
with cheerful 'Ume' (plum blossom) pattern, which is dyed colorfully in Bingata style.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
There are many brownish fine stains above Tare end and on both sides of Maegara.
There are also stains below Otaiko pattern, and depending on how you tie the obi, they may or may not show. (sorry no photos)
Corners of Tare end are slightly frayed.
Please see photos for details.
It seems that the whole obi is slightly discolored.
(sorry no photos)
It also has patinas in places.
We would like you to enjoy this charming Obi.
