This is a graceful Shioze Nagoya obi
with a design of 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'shiba'(lawn grass) on jigami'(fan shape), which is dyed in deep reddish purple background.
Gold glazing is added on the design.
Textile is shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of shioze silk.
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.
Although not shown on the photo and figure, a bit of dyestuffs on otaiko and maegara(front patterned part) are peeled off.
A part of base color becomes slight, and it has lots of glossy prats by fray.
A corner of tare end is frayed and torn (hole is small).
There are other flaws such as rather prominent folding lines.
Please check detail photos.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!
