This is a Nagoya obi
with classical iris in water streams motif, which is woven.
Gold foil threads included in the pattern twinkle gently.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
*Background color may seem uneven on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code*
Otaiko pattern is slightly smudged and rather fluffed and has a tiny snag.
One side of Maegara has a snag.(it is supposed to be marked in red)
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), clean side of Maegara will show.
It has some other flaws, such as folding lines, as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it can continue to be worn.
