This is a graceful Tsumugi Fukuro obi
with 'Housouge'(imaginary Chinese flower) pattern and 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) on 'Michinaga-dori'(wavy line) pattern, which is embroidered and gracefully dyed.
Drawn work(one of the technique of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added.
Textile is Tsumugi
silk and has soft, but nubby touch.
It is uncompleted.(Both ends are open, and lining is not added inside.)
The length is rather long. 195.28in(496cm)
It has 'somewake'(dyed with separate colors) on the background, and it has no pattern for 12.60in(32cm) from the tesaki.(refer to the 1st photo)
It can be tailored as you like.
It is patterned for the waist size of about 35.83in(91cm) -39.37in(100cm).
The length from the center of otaiko(square bow) to the center of 'Maegara' (front patterned part) is 41.34in(105cm).
It has no folding lines and seems to be untied.
As the figure shown, it has discoloration on the creases on upper and lower otaiko(square bow) but not so noticeable.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
It's still wearable enough in very good condition.
Please enjoy this elegant design.
