This is a graceful Houmongi
Kimono with Tsujigahana
design, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
This piece is dyed by Testuya Higuma, one of a famous dyers of Tsujigahana
Gold threads woven in the background are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There is dyer's stamp on right front panel.
Basting stitches remain and it seems to be just after cleaning.
It has slight discoloration on the okumi of the left front panel. (A)
