This is a charming Nagoya obi
with butterfly and 'Kikkou'(tortoise shell) in circle design and flower diamond design, which are dyed.
'Kinkoma'(golden outlining embroidery work) is arranged on the patern of 'otaiko'(square bow).
Textile is Shioze silk with its characteristic soft and smooth texture.
Its length is rather short. (11'1"/338.5cm)
It has tiny and slight patinas on the white parts of 'otaiko'(square bow) pattern.
Not shown on the sheet and in the photos, it has patinas on the pattern of both 'maegara' (front pattern on belly).
Overall, it has prominent discoloration, and especially, the one on the upper 'otaiko'(square bow) and 'maegara' (front pattern on belly) are noticeable because of the folding lines.
There are some other flaws such as slight folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Unfortunately, it might be no longer wearable due to the prominent discoloration.
Please enjoy its charming and retro design itself.
