This is a vintage summer Ro Maru obi
with 'Botan'(peony) like flower pattern, which is dyed.
The woven silver foiled threads elegantly shine.
Textile is transparent stiff and smooth ro silk.
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
It is relatively short.(13'3"/404cm)
There are frays on the corners.
There are smudges on the both edges throughout.
There are patinas throughout.
There are stains and snags on the wrong side.
There are some other flaws such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and sheet.
Although it's not mentioned on the sheet, there are loose stitches of silver foiled threads on the corners of 'taresaki'(end of wide part).
There is slight discoloration throughout.
Unfortunately, it may no longer in wearable condition due to the weaken fabric.
However, it is still charming design which we would like you to enjoy.
