This is a vibrant Sioze Nagoya obi
with a design such as 'housouge'(large karabana flower) and 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) 'karabana'(imaginary flower in China), which is dyed.
Gold foil threads woven on the design are elegantly shining.
Textile is sioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of sioze silk.
*The real base color is relatively brighter than the photos.
There are frayed parts on tare end and smudges throughout both edges.
Rather prominent smudges can be seen lower otaiko and tare end.
It also has stains on otaiko and both sides of maegara(front patterned part).
Please check detail photos.
Also, the fabric of the 'tare'(wide end) might be shrunk.
So that, a little bit of the fabric of the wrong side was pulled and came out to the right side.
Though it has some flaws, we hope you enjoy its elegant design!
