This is an exotic vinatge Meisen
Kimono with 'kikyou' ( baloon flower) 'karakusa'(arabesque) pattern, which is woven.
Textile is light silk and Jinken(rayon) blend.
The collar is Bachi-eri (folded).
The upper lining is cotton.
'Hakkake' (lower part of lining) is silk.
Basting stitches remain on side slit and the lower collar.
It has red silk (5.9in/15cm width) attached on the sleeve.
Not shown on the sheet and in the photos, the lining on the back of both sleeve has a seam.
overall, it has discoloration by ages.
It has some weaving flaws as the sheet mentions.
There are some other flaws such as stains on the right front sleeve and on the left front panel.

Although there are such flaws by ages, please enjoy its design which only vintage items have.
