Kimono made by Itchiku Kubota, one of the most famous dyer in Japan.
The colors and ombre dyed design is so beautiful!
Its tiny 'Karabana' (imaginary flower in China) pattern, which is woven and fascinatingly shine by the angle of light.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The collar is Hiro-eri(unfolded).
It has basting stitches and seems just been cleaned.
It has slight discoloration on the lining, but no noticeable flaws on the outside.

One of the famous dyeing industrial artists for Tsujigahana
When he was at age 20, he was inspired by Tsujigahana
technique, and after long years of study,
he revived it by incorporating the old technique with the new one and created his original technique which he named "Itchiku-Tsujigahana".
He receives a high evaluation in abroad for his unique design and deep hue in the pattern.
He was awarded 'Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres' in 1990 and 'Culture Director General Prize' in 1993.
