This is a casual Tsume-Tsuzure Nagoya obi
with a design of house, tree and mountain, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has smooth touch.
It also has "Hatsurikou" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
The obi has one side designed at the front part when it is tied.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), designed side of Maegara will show.
*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually one tone of color as seen in HTML code.
The stain(A) will appear when tied and disturbing.
There are some more stains than the figure shown on otaiko.
The stain on maegara(front patterned part) is tiny so not prominent.(no photo)
The stain on tare end will appear when tied and bothering a little.
There are other flaws such as a folding line.
Please check detail photos.
If these flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its charming fashion!
